Indian coke producer Konark Met Coke Ltd (KMCL) is building a new coking plant in the state of Orissa, east India. Etteplan’s Oulu office was responsible for the realization of a coke bucket car, the cranes for the dry quenching plant, quenching chambers, dust removal and waste heat boilers. The work was completed during 2004.

Etteplan participated in project management, procurements, designing the basic automation system (level 1), programming, commissioning and training for the areas mentioned above.
