Turning Torso in Malmö Sweden is the highest residential building in Europe reaching 190 m.
Building consist of 9 blocks and has 57 floors.
The helix-shaped building is facing the water and turns 90 degrees as it twists upwards.
Kone elevators supplies 5 elevators to the building. Three of them reach the top and have speed of 5.0 m/s. Other two serve office areas at the two lowest blocks. Office lifts have a revolutionary jump lift method that is used during the building phase. Jump lift uses a moving machine room that is jumped upwards as building construction progresses.
