I graduated from Helsinki University of Technology in 2002, and since then I have had an interesting sales & business development career in after-sales services, medical equipment, management consulting, and contract design & manufacturing. At Etteplan I started as Sales Director in January 2018. My main objectives include growing Etteplan’s medical devices business internationally, enabling Etteplan’s customers’ after-sales service business growth, and helping the customers in meeting the rapidly evolving requirements and regulations related to cybersecurity of connected devices. Great challenges ahead!
From a sales professional’s perspective, I have experienced several very positive surprises related to working at Etteplan. The business is really well managed on operational level, and this is also visible in our financial performance. There are 60 local offices, who make sure that their businesses grow profitably in the long-term. Personally, I like the strong collaborative spirit between Etteplan’s three service areas, our local offices in various countries, our very experienced technical leads and our customers.
The work-life balance and management at Etteplan is really something special. In 2011-2014 I focused full-time on becoming a professional opera singer, but I did not to manage to get engagements. During 2018 and 2019 I have and will perform almost a dozen leading tenor roles with opera companies in the Helsinki capital area, and I haven’t had any problems in arranging time for evening & week-end rehearsals and performances. Also my superior and the whole team is very supportive of my artistic work.
