Etteplan provides layout design services for the printed circuit boards (PCB) of electronic devices that cover both regular PCBs and those requiring special expertise. Our customers operate in numerous industries, manufacturing, among other things, telecommunications products, defense equipment and technology, medical equipment and industrial machinery and equipment. Our layout design customers include Aidon, Climecon, SKS Automaatio, Emergence and Orion Diagnostica.
Our experience and expertise includes:
- Multilayer PCBs of up to 24 layers. If necessary, we will use microvia, blind via and/or buried via and backdrill technologies
- Flex and rigid-flex boards (single-layer and multi-layer)
- heavy copper PCBs and IMS PCBs
Depending on customer needs, we use the following design tools, among others: Mentor Pads, Mentor Xpedition, Altium Designer, Zuken Cadstar and Cadence Orcad/Allegro. Our strong competence in PCB layout design builds on more than 25 years of experience in different industries. Signals and simulations
Layout design is expert work that is always time-critical, and errors at this stage can cost you both time and money. As our customer, you will receive all of the services related to PCB layout design and testing from under one roof. Our layout designers have experience both in attending to the integrity of high-speed signals and in designing high-voltage PCB layouts. We will perform thermal and EMC simulations on your products, if necessary.
Our support for your project also includes electronics engineering and consultant services for RF and antenna design, signal integrity and high-speed design and simulation, and thermal and mechanical simulations.
The manufacturability and testability of your product can be ensured using the Design for Testability (DFT) and Design for Manufacturability methods (DFM). The layout designer is always in contact with the customer’s electronics engineer to make sure that we get the requirements for the PCB right from the start.
