HAZEMAG

HAZEMAG Group develops and manufactures machines and plants for the construction and mining industry worldwide. Needless to say, safety comes first as far as maintenance, repair and operations of the machinery and plants is concerned. The company’s technical documentation needs to comply with the high safety requirements.

Technical documentation is business critical at HAZEMAG

Technical documentation is an integral part of the delivery of all machines and plats at the HAZEMAG Group. As the service was outsourced, HAZEMAG has appointed Etteplan Germany to one of their most important suppliers.

Selecting a partner for technical documentation was thus a decision that was carefully analyzed. The advantages Etteplan could offer turned out to be numerous – high quality, increased legal security, delivery reliability and cost-efficiency.

Etteplan also helped to rewrite HAZEMAG’s documents to comply with norms, standards and local regulations in the EU, the US and Russia respectively.

19% Cost savings

According to Etteplan’s estimates the new service solution has helped HAZEMAG to cut costs by 19 percent. Also the speed of finding the correct operating instructions on the plants has increased significantly with about 30 percent.

"A trusted service provider"

For HAZEMAG, it has been a major advantage to find a supplier who can establish all technical documentations of two product lines with a total of more than 30 model series and a wide variety of individual machines and plant components with a consistent framework.

“We feel very confident in Etteplan as trusted service provider. They have the expertise to ensure that our machines and plants comply with all relevant legal requirements for worldwide distribution, summarizes Tim Neumann. Hazemags technical documentation must comply with high safety requirements.

“Etteplan has a suitable editorial system and – thanks to their large international team – completely covers the country spectrum we need with regard to standards research and specialist language services."
