Posti

Etteplan is Posti’s collaboration partner in charge of the maintenance of Posti’s parcel lockers. Etteplan also participates in the development of the parcel locker system. The Continuous Services unit of Etteplan carried out the modernisation of Posti’s parcel locker equipment and the implementation of the new software during autumn 2017. The work covered all parcel lockers in Finland.

As a result of the renewal of Posti parcel lockers, background processes of parcel lockers were speeded up, which makes it possible for Posti to better tackle the continuously increasing parcel volume. This change is visible to customers using Posti parcel lockers, particularly, as an increase in ease-of-use when sending or picking up a parcel.

“We have been very pleased with Etteplan in respect of project management, installation and work quality. Both the project and maintenance work performance have been controlled and responsible. A great example of this is last Christmas, which, despite the record-breaking parcel volumes, ran smoothly.”

Anna Lehtonen, Director of Retail Network and Service at Posti
