SEO’s company card solution maintenance

The merchants who operate in SEO’s service station network serve consumer and corporate customers throughout Finland. Etteplan maintains the network’s company card solution. The work involves predictive maintenance, user support, conducting various surveys and reporting, as well as managing SEO’s data import and the correctness of data, creating a blocked list, taking backup copies of the database and monitoring disk space. Small-scale development and predictive maintenance ensure the software’s continuous operation and necessary updates. Exceptional situations are always looked into as required. The card system must operate without interruption. Because the merchants and their corporate customers have different needs, solutions are also tailored to meet customers’ needs. The company card solution additionally includes a partner network, which is coordinated under the same maintenance agreement.

“Our cooperation has continued for a long time,” says Etteplan’s Head of Application Management Hannu Korpi. “Etteplan’s solution maintenance experts ensure that SEO merchants can focus on their core business. Thanks to the maintenance, which includes predictive maintenance, the company card solution and the related services work seamlessly.”

Established in 1978, SEO (Suomalainen Energiaosuuskunta) is a Finnish oil company that is controlled by its merchants. The SEO network includes more than 200 distribution stations, service stations or unmanned filling stations. SEO merchants independently decide on their station’s services, as well as on their fuel distribution and pricing solutions. This forms the basis for the SEO network’s independent and autonomous nature. The merchants of SEO’s service station network serve customers around Finland, from the shores of the Gulf of Finland all the way to Nuorgam, Lapland.

Etteplan ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) manages solution maintenance and critical applications so that customers can focus on their core business.
