Etteplan strengthens its position in Sweden by acquiring automation solutions provider Eltech Automation AB
Technology service company Etteplan is strengthening its position in Sweden by acquiring the entire share capital of Swedish company Eltech Automation AB, headquartered in Lomma, Skåne, a provider of comprehensive industrial automation solutions. With this acquisition, Etteplan expands its service offering in Sweden to include production solutions and strengthens its foothold particularly in Southern Sweden. From Southern Sweden, production solutions can also be more effectively offered to the Danish market.
Founded in 1997, Eltech Automation AB provides industrial automation and robotics services. The company offers strong expertise in robotics, machine vision, automation, mechanical and electrical design, and industrial IT. The company employs 20 professionals and had a revenue of approximately EUR 2.5 million in 2024. In the transaction, Eltech Automation AB’s founder and CEO Mikael Carlsson sells his ownership in the company to Etteplan and continues to work at Etteplan managing the acquired business. The cash purchase price will not be disclosed.
Eltech Automation’s customer base is focused on the food and packaging industries as well as machinery manufacturers. Customers are mainly located in Southern Sweden, particularly in the Malmö region, but Eltech Automation also follows its key clients internationally.

The acquisition was signed on August 26, 2025, and the company’s figures will be consolidated into Etteplan’s income statement and balance sheet as of September 1, 2025.
