The remote monitoring solutions can be for example used to monitor medication use or peak expiratory flow with asthma patients. Etteplan provides the development and maintenance of the mobile application The development of Orla DTx’s remote monitoring app was started in 2015 with Etteplan. Etteplan also provides maintenance for the application on iOS and Android. The mobile app communicates with the remote monitoring device through Bluetooth. The app gathers information from remote monitoring devices as well as information reported by patients. The data is then managed and analyzed. The collection and management of the data enable data-driven decision making by healthcare professionals. In addition, Etteplan has worked with Orla DTx to upgrade the look and feel of the application to make it more consistent with Orla DTx’s brand and fill accessibility requirements.
