Etteplan’s Kanaliiga team in PUBG – Community is the spark for playing

Kanaliiga is a corporate e-sports league where teams from different companies compete against each other in games like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Rocket League, Dota 2 and NHL. Currently, Kanaliiga has over 1500 active players from hundreds of organizations participating, including Etteplan.

The games are held as tournaments and live streamed on Twitch. As the main sponsor of Kanaliiga, Etteplan wants to support community spirit and a good work-life balance.

“Our employees engage in a wide range of leisure activities together. For Etteplan this partnership is a natural way to support the activities of this community that is important for our employees,” says Esa Mäkelä, Head of Cloud and Applications, Etteplan.

Team Etteplan: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

Etteplan has actually two teams in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). The Team showcased here consists of four players: Lauri Rasi, Tuomas Kunnamo, Teemu Sinkkonen and Tapio Uotila. The team’s philosophy is to play in a straightforward fashion without any gimmicks or stunts.

“We play with a low risk level: clear and short movements on the map. Of course, adaptability to the game’s events, evolution and opponent’s movements is important,” explains Tuomas Kunnamo.

“Our strength is in shooting and hitting the opponents with accuracy more than strategic gameplay,” agrees Lauri Rasi.
