Changes in Etteplan Oyj´s Group Management Team

Etteplan has decided to consolidate and reorganize its Group management team in order to make its operations more efficient, to bring new technologies more closely into service solutions and to achieve the targets set for the company. In connection with this change Senior Vice President Operational Excellence group function, Veikko Lamminen will retire during 2024.

Eric Tengstrand M.Sc (Ergonomic Design) has been appointed as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Solutions and Technologies group function and a member of Etteplan’s Group management team as of January 1, 2024. Tengstrand has worked at Etteplan since 2008, first as a designer and in recent years in various leadership positions, most recently as Vice President in the Technical Communication Solutions service area, responsible for global solution development and as a member of the management team of the same service area. In his new role, Tengstrand will report to President and CEO Juha Näkki.

On January 1, 2024, Etteplan’s IT organization, which until now has been part of the Operational Excellence group function, will be merged into the Solutions and Technologies group function. “I warmly welcome Eric Tengstrand to the Etteplan Group management team. He has been very successful in his previous positions and in the future he will be responsible for Etteplan’s Solutions and Technologies group function, whose essential task is to develop Etteplan’s offering and increase the customer value of our service solutions. I am very happy that we can appoint a person from within the company to the position and to the group´s management team and thus offer a new step on the career path”, says Etteplan CEO Juha Näkki.

The current Senior Vice President of the Solutions and Technologies group function, Petri Ikonen, will be responsible for Etteplan’s joint ventures and partnerships in the future. Ikonen still reports to CEO Juha Näkki, but is not a member of the Group management team as of January 1, 2024.

Per-Anders Gådin, the Senior Vice President responsible for merger, acquisitions and business development, will continue in his current position and report to CEO Juha Näkki, but is not a member of the Group management team as of January 1, 2024.

Veikko Lamminen will retire during 2024. “I warmly thank Veikko for his invaluable contribution to the company.
