Etteplan Oyj, Web Release, June 1, 2026

Etteplan has joined the Polish Dual-Use Chamber (PIDU) to strengthen its position in regulated and defence-related sectors. PIDU is a Polish national organization that brings together companies developing technologies for both civilian and security-related use.

PIDU was founded in March 2026 to support innovation at the intersection of civil technology, defence, and national security. The Chamber connects businesses, public institutions, and experts, and helps its members navigate regulations, partnerships, and market access in dual-use and defence-related sectors.

Etteplan’s membership supports the company’s long-term development in regulated industries. Etteplan Poland holds military license no. B-133/2025, issued by the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration, authorizing the company to operate in the defence and security sector. Etteplan aims to transfer its strong experience in civilian product development, engineering, software, and digitalization to the defence sector, while continuing to serve a wide range of industrial customers.

“Joining PIDU at the beginning of its journey is an important step for us. We want to actively shape this ecosystem in Poland from the start and bring our experience from civilian product development into the defence sector. Dual-use fits our competence profile very well, as many technologies and challenges overlap. We are strongly forward-focused and see this as a long-term development path for Etteplan in Poland, ” says Maciej Sibiński, Sales Director of Etteplan in Poland.
