Błażej Pałkowski: My Career Grows Alongside the Engineering Solutions Team

Błażej Pałkowski joined Etteplan in 2018 after a company representative discovered his LinkedIn profile. At that time, the Engineering Solutions team was just five strong. Today, it has expanded to over 20 employees, fueled by rapid growth. 

Błażej started as a Senior Engineer, working on projects for the paper industry. His expertise quickly gained recognition, coinciding with the team’s continuous expansion. 

A key moment in Błażej's career was taking on the role of Chief Engineer, which resulted from collaboration with Valmet in Turku. “The client commissioned us to lead projects related to turnfloats, which required not only knowledge but also leadership skills,” recalls Błażej. Meanwhile, Engineering Solutions continued to gain strength. At that time, Michał Gaber, the Department Manager, decided to divide the team into three groups - two teams of mechanics and one team of automation and electrical engineers. Błażej became the Team Manager of one of the mechanical groups. This move allowed for more effective management and project execution. His team was responsible for a variety of projects. 

Błażej thrives on creating positive change in the industry. “Every project has its unique aspects, yet they all share the same joy when I see the results of our designs,” he explains. For successful collaboration, trust and development opportunities are essential, and Engineering Solutions excels in this area. “Our manager empowers us with the freedom to act. He relies on our courage to pursue innovative solutions,” summarizes Błażej.
